"Safety Economy"
The “Economy
Series” is the most widely used Shortening Shuttle®.
Durability and strength that weighs only twenty four (24) pounds when empty. It's easy to
use and economical. There are four (4) models to choose from depending upon the fryer's drain
height and the grease dumpster's height.
The "Economy Series" uses a perforated Baffle
Screen to help prevent splashing and to catch large debris. Hardwood handles at both ends of the Shuttle help
to minimize heat transfer, although we allways recommend the use of safety gloves when operating the
Shortening Shuttle®.
If your fryer’s drain outlet is eleven and one half (11.5) inches or higher above the floor then your choices
are either the SS-611 or the SS-611-T. If your drain is lower then
click here.
 Both models can be emptied into a fifty-five (55) gallon drum or a grease
dumpster.
 But, if your grease dumpster has wheels under it or if it’s on a platform
(taller than 40.5 inches), then you will need the SS-611-T. We never, never want you to lift the
Shortening Shuttle® up to your waste container. The SS-611-T is designed
9” taller than the SS-611 to safely accommodate taller waste containers.
You can rest easier knowing that a Shortening Shuttle® will last for miles and miles over thresholds and curbs,
up and down stairs (a Stair Plate is recommended when there are lots of stairs) and across parking lots, safely
transporting your hot waste oil fromfryer to dumpsterwithout the risks of open buckets burns.
If your fryer drain outlet is lower than 11.5” above the floor
then your choice is either the SS-611-TL or the SS-709. They are both designed for drain outlets as
low as 8.5”* above the floor. And, if you have fryers of both types then you should ask us about a Splash
Guard. Also, if your dumpster or 55 gallon drum is on a platform or wheels the SS-611-TL will work perfectly
for you.
"Safety
Simplicity"
The SS-914 “Simplicity Series” is the simplest and
easiest choice. There is no lifting involved except for lifting the five (5) foot hose. It can be used with any
drain height as well as any waste container. There are two available models. The SS-914 uses a durable hand pump
and a five (5) foot hose.
